Security

The security of the school campus is managed by a team of dedicated and professionally managed security services company.

Safety

ADAMAS makes utmost endeavor to maintain International levels of Safety, Health and Environment. A number of precautionary measures have been undertaken for the well-being of students. Periodic mock drills on fire, emergency and evacuation techniques are held to apprise and drill the students as to how one should handle emergencies. Assembly points are designed where the students will assemble, led by the class teachers in case of emergency.

Medical

A fully equipped medical center is located at the ADAMAS Campus, headed by a medical practitioner and trained nurses. Latest equipment, adequate stock of medicines are kept to cater to the medical needs of students throughout the functioning of the school.

The school has ties with specialist medical centers and nursing homes and ambulance services, in case specialized medical attention is required. The teacher or assistants accompany the students to the medical center. Doctors prescribe medicine only after proper investigation. A health Card (medical record) is kept for all the students to monitor their health status in a comprehensive manner

School Transportation

School Bus services is compulsory for all students above the age of 3. The route and timing is determined by the school authorities for a specified fee.

Academic Facilities

Airy and spacious Class Rooms, Computer Centre, Physics, Chemistry, Biology laboratories Audiovisual Centre and Library The overall teacher student ratio is 1:30. The focal point of the school is to hone students as professionals and help them develop a superior state of mind. Different social campaigns like environment protection, overall cleanliness, community care, etc. is undertaken from time to time keeping in mind that service to mankind is service to God.

Green Campus

Adamas International School is spread over an area of 5 acres of a very green, neat and eco friendly environment. The students have taken several initiatives to create and spread awareness within and beyond school premises.

Our ECO – FRIENDLY Initiatives

• The entire campus is lit with CFL tubes and bulbs.
• We being a school with DAY- BOARDING facilities have a full running kitchen which provides for almost 2000 day boarders daily. The kitchen is well-ventilated with proper chimneys. The dining hall is air-conditioned.
• The school has also been involved in an INTERNATIONAL project with the BRITISH COUNCIL on CARBON DIOXIDE CAMPAIGN called BREATHE AGAIN.
• The school celebrates an annual PLANTATION DAY following which every year there is a GREEN awareness campaign called GO GREEN held in school.
• The school has also won the BEST GREEN SCHOOL AWARD at BOSCO UTSAV, the annual fest of DON BOSCO, LILUAH for our initiatives in 2013.
• The students also participated in a campaign called Green City. They had to design innovative ways to make their own school campus a more eco friendly Environment in the school. Our school has lush green campus.
• We have a dedicated team of student representatives who work hand in hand with the staff to ensure that the campus is kept absolutely free of harmful components. They actively run campaigns in the school to generate awareness.
• The entire staff recycles used paper for their work.
• Hot beverages are served in earthen cups in the school canteen instead of plastic cups.
• The entire campus follows a compulsory earth hour where all electrical connections are turned off for an hour to conserve energy and spread awareness to use energy resources judiciously.
